Question re: standard fees for 'event' photography

Hi all,

Does anyone have an idea what might be a standard fee for photographing ‘events’? I have the opportunity to photograph monthly events related to a branch of the American Chamber of Commerce. These are meetings between high officials of the government and major companies. I mean would it be by the hour? Could it be more than a standard editorial day rate?

Thanks.

Davin
